Caroline Russell

Caroline is a native Houstonian.  She graduated Mount Vernon College in Washington, D.C., with a degree in Human Development, specializing in Childhood Education.  A real estate professional since 1990, she was a top producer in Houston with the Sotheby’s affiliate, John Daugherty Realtors and had her own real estate company in Galveston, Texas before coming to Santa Fe.  She holds a real estate broker’s license in both Texas and New Mexico.  Caroline is a member of CRS since 2005, served on the Santa Fe Association of Realtors (SFAR) Board of Directors from 2007 to 2009 and Realtors Association of New Mexico (RANM) Board of Directors in 2010; served on the Community Services Committee in 2009; the Nominating Committee in 2010; the Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC) in 2010; the Marketing Committee in 2010; is a founding member of Women’s Council of Realtors and served as President in 2006. Caroline has been a Sterling R contributor to RPAC since 2008.

Committed to charity work, Caroline is a member of The Junior League of Houston, has volunteered with March of Dimes, Cystic Fibrosis and helped form the Galveston affiliate of Habitat for Humanity.  She has served on the Women Build Committee of Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity and the Buckaroo Ball committee. She has been the chairperson of the annual Kentucky Derby Day Event since 2004. The event benefitted Habitat for Humanity for the first five years and has benefitted Southwest CARE Center since then.

Caroline is devoted to the community of Santa Fe, as well as to her adorable rescue mutts, Emma Amelia and Thaddeus.
